In the photos, You can see classic items from that distant era depicted in paint: a treasure chest filled with gold, a bottle of rum, a map with a boarding cutlass, and a ship’s wheel. It is worth noting that these are not stickers or decoupage, but hand-painted illustrations – and You will not find an identical piece anywhere else in the world. The tray is made from ash wood, which features characteristic light-brown and dark-brown tones, with natural wood grain patterns clearly visible on the boards. The finishing is done in a «rough», rustic country style, which only adds to the sense of authenticity. It is entirely possible that something similar once served Edward Teach himself, enjoying a hearty roast in a local tavern and washing it down with strong drinks. Who knows.
The tray is coated with a transparent water-based lacquer, helping to preserve both the artwork and the wood for as long as physically possible.
