Beautiful cars, gorgeous women, cozy diners, and an uplifting atmosphere—this is probably the short way to describe the 1950s in America. Of course, this is somewhat of an idyllic image, but it was precisely this that we tried to base our new bourbon shelf on. How well we managed to «fit in» with the trend and capture the spirit of the era is for you to decide. )
On the bourbon shelf, you can see a diner themed around car racing with the characteristic name «Crazy Piston», and two signs indicating the diner itself and a promotional burger offer. By the way, the prices are accurate for the 1950s! Then, on the central board, you can see the centerpiece of the composition – a square-shaped bourbon bottle and a half-full glass of corn whiskey. To the right, a 1920s–1930s car appears, modernized for today’s view. Young guys could not always afford a new car, and the technical specifications were not always ideal. Yet, the culture of «backyard mechanics» or «shadow-trees mechanics» allowed them to turn grandpa’s old bucket into a decent ride. The widespread fascination with cars and street tuning also found expression in the greaser subculture, which in turn influenced our composition. 🙂 The garage space to the right of the car is also meant to transport you into the themed era. Some may even recognize the colors of old brands that, for obvious reasons, could not be reproduced exactly.
All elements on the bourbon bottle shelf are hand-painted with acrylic paints. You can see how this is done in the photos in the store listing. The shelf exists in a single copy, so if you wish to acquire this artifact for your home, garage, or restaurant, don’t delay your decision.
The bourbon shelf itself is made of pine. We do not use glue, so all boards are solid, from what is called longitudinal cut. This creates a continuous wood grain pattern, exactly as nature intended.
The bourbon shelf is suitable for private use such as in the kitchen or for commercial use, to display special liquor. In any case, everyone decides for themselves how and where to use it.

It is important to note that wood is a natural material. Each species, and even each individual board, has its own characteristics. Therefore, the shelf may have knots, small chips, warping, unevenness, and other minor defects that can only be avoided with industrial or professional equipment.
